How It All Began

It all began when Linn was a child pet sitting to make extra money during the summer. As a member of the local 4-H club, she signed up for dog training classes, spending many hours at the leaders grooming shop helping her groom dogs. She also volunteered her time at the local small animal hospital down the road, assisting with whatever needed to be done & eventually getting hired on as an assistant. Little did she know that it would turn into a life long passion. She began her pet grooming apprenticeship & opened her first grooming salon a few years later in the Valley West area of Arcata, eventually moving to the original location of the Arcata Animal Hospital, transforming it into a successful grooming & boarding facility for many years.

Now that her children are grown, she is enjoying the 2nd half of her life in her grooming salon in Blue Lake, Ca. where she spends her free time taking courses to stay current on new products & techniques thru the International Professional Groomers Association. She is also a member of the California Professional Pet Groomers Association.
